Announcing the recipients of our 1,000,000 Small Business Debt Relief Grant Program

We’re excited to announce that SF New Deal has selected 400 small businesses across the city to receive $2,500 debt relief grants! Through this program we’re furthering our mission to support diverse small businesses, each of which add vibrancy to our neighborhoods.

Grants were awarded to a range of businesses across all eleven SF districts whose sales were negatively impacted by COVID-19. Recipients include 61 salons, 12 art and entertainment spaces, 5 bookstores, 13 childcare centers, 3 tailors, and many more. We're proud to support these businesses, of which 324 self-identify as BIPOC-owned, 189 as women-owned, and 41 as LGBTQ-owned.
